The feeling of security helps your little one fall asleep faster and sleep deeply.
The soft belly band provides gentle pressure, offering relief and helping your baby relax.
Thanks to the smart rolling system, the Piep grows with your baby, from 44 to 62 cm.
Reduces the Moro reflex and uncontrolled movements, allowing your baby to sleep peacefully.
The sensation of being inside the sleeping bag sets your baby at ease. It feels soft and warm and reminds your baby of those months spent in mommy’s tummy. Its arms are inside the sleeping bag so your baby can’t flail its arms about and wake itself up.
This protective cocoon helps your baby settle down faster and then sleep longer and more deeply. Deep sleep helps your little one process stimuli and alleviates stomach cramps. Your baby can sleep through the night undisturbed and eventually wakes up of its own accord.
The simplest but most important effect of this cocoon is that it helps your baby wake up well-rested. Baby is happy and settles into its normal rhythm again. Before long, sleepless nights and the powerless feeling of not being able to help are a thing of the past.
Watch our video for a clear explanation or follow these steps:
Open the swaddle bag and loosen the belly band.
Place your baby in the sleeping bag and secure the belly band under the arms, across the belly.
Put the arms inside the sleeping bag and zip it up.
Is the sleeping bag too big? Make it smaller by rolling up the bottom, folding it, and fastening it with the snap buttons.
Absolutely! Swaddling in the Puckababy Piep provides your baby with the comforting feeling of the womb. This makes it easier for your little one to fall asleep calmly and sleep longer, without waking up from the Moro reflex (flailing arms). It creates a calm, safe feeling, just like your baby was used to in mama's belly.
Yes, swaddling with Puckababy is completely safe. The Puckababy Piep offers enough space for healthy hip development, while its airy cocoon design prevents overheating.
At Puckababy, we guarantee safety and quality. Our products are certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and TÜV, meaning they are free from harmful substances and meet the highest safety standards. This ensures your baby sleeps safely, soundly, and comfortably!
You can start using the Puckababy Piep right from birth. It provides your baby with the familiar feeling of security, just like in the womb. The Puckababy Piep is designed for newborns and supports their development in a safe and comfortable way.
Stop swaddling once your baby begins to roll over. This usually happens around 4-6 months. From that point, it's time to transition to a sleep bag that offers more freedom. The Mini can help you safely and smoothly transition away from swaddling.
The Puckababy Piep is available in three materials:
Cotton (TOG 0.5)
The choice of the right sleep sack depends on the season and the temperature in the room where your baby sleeps. The Tencel sleep sack is ideal for the warm summer months, while the cotton sleep sack is suitable for spring, summer, early autumn, or a well-heated room. The double-lined teddy sleep sack provides extra warmth and is perfect for the colder months or a cooler room.
The right sleepwear is essential for your baby’s good night’s rest. Sleeping too warm or too cold can disrupt sleep and cause discomfort.
If you’re unsure, you can refer to the TOG chart for the Piep or contact our customer service. They’ll be happy to assist you.
The difference between the cotton and Tencel Piep lies in the fabric properties. Both fabrics have a TOG value of 0.5, but for the summer months, we recommend the Tencel sleep sack.
Tencel absorbs 50% more moisture than cotton, offers excellent temperature regulation, is cooling, heat-regulating, and antibacterial. Additionally, Tencel contains 7% elastane, making the fabric more flexible than cotton, providing your baby with more room to move.
To make sure your baby isn’t too hot or too cold, you can use the TOG value. This system helps you determine the best clothing to wear under the swaddle sleep sack for any room temperature. This way, you can always dress your baby comfortably and safely in the right layers depending on the room temperature.
Each product comes with a TOG chart to give you clear guidance so you can make the right choice.
