The label "Confidence in Textile" tested on hazardous substances according to ÖKO-TEX Standard 100", is used to mark textile products that were subjected to an array of extensive laboratory experiments in authorised and independent test facilities, and that were proven to be safe for people's health. The quality label is only awarded to products that are entirely free of hazardous substances. This includes the fabrics and threads that were used, as well as the metal or plastic accessories, such as zippers.
Examples of a few testing parameters of our articles according to ÖKO-TEX:
carcinogenic colorants
formaldehyde, plasticisers, heavy metals
allergenic dispersion colorants, pesticides, organostannic compounds
skin-friendly pH-value, good colour fastness
The ÖKO-TEX tests consist of over 100 different parameters, and go much further than the legal requirements. A lot of baby products do not have this ecolabel. Do check before you purchase. Your child is still very vulnerable. With Puckababy you are making a very conscious choice for quality, and you can be sure that your little one is not exposed to dangerous substances.
